Aspire Cleito EXO Sub Ohm Tank Review

by on August 10, 2017

The Cleito EXO sub ohm tank is the latest to be released in Aspire’s Cleito series. The first thing that you will notice when you set your eyes on the Cleito EXO is that it does not come with the open glass design that you will find on other Cleito tanks. Instead, it is fitted with a cool stainless steel sleeve with the word “Aspire” on it. The sleeve gives the Cleito EXO a unique appearance and makes it stand out from other sub ohm tanks on the market. The tank can hold up to 3.5ml of e-juice and is compatible with the coil heads of other Cleito tanks.

The Aspire Cleito EXO Sub Ohm Tank is made of stainless steel and food grade plastic. The dimensions of the tank are 57mm by 23.5mm. The Cleito EXO is available in different colors including bronze, anodized rainbow, stainless steel, black, and blue. You can get this tank on Ultimate Vape Deals for $24.99.

The stainless steel sleeve on the Cleito EXO not only gives it a different appearance but also serves as a protective cover. This Aspire tank is almost indestructible. It is almost impossible for the tank to break apart when it falls to the ground because it does not have any glass components. There are windows on the side of the tank so you can see the exact level of your e-liquid in the tank.

You can tell that a lot of planning went into designing this Aspire tank. The tank has a top full design. To refill it, you only have to remove the top cap. The top cap has some indented patterns on it which makes it easier to grip when you are taking it off. As noted earlier, this tank can hold 3.5ml of e-liquid, but it can be converted into a 2ml tank. The Cleito EXO comes pre-installed with a 0.16 ohms coil head. When you install this coil head, which is big, the capacity of the tank is only 2ml. However, there is an extra 0.4 ohms coil head in the package. When you install this coil head, the tank can hold 3.5ml of e-juice. The standard version of the tank comes with one 0.16 ohms coil head and a 0.4 ohms coils head. However, the TPD version of the tank comes with two 0.16 ohms coil head. You can use virtually all the coil heads that come with older Cleito tanks including the Cleito RBA deck.

Another remarkable feature of the Aspire Cleito EXO Sub Ohm Tank is its airflow system. The Cleito EXO has a top airflow design unlike other tanks in the Cleito series. The airflow system of the Cleito EXO is non-adjustable, and it works differently. When you draw in from the drip tip, air travels through the top side airflow slots and goes down to the coils before coming up to your mouth through the central airflow chamber.

The tank comes with a Delrin drip tip, and you will find an extra drip tip in the package. You cannot fit a standard 510 Delrin drip tip on this tank.

Due to the airflow design of the Aspire Cleito EXO Sub Ohm Tank, it has a somewhat tight draw that will remind you of tanks that have a restricted lung hit. This is not to say that this tank gives a restricted lung hit because it does not. The flavor and cloud production of this tank is excellent just like it is with other tanks in the Cleito series. The only con that you can find on this tank is that it comes with a plastic tank instead of glass. Plastic tanks are known to crack and leak when you put certain e-liquids in them. Another tiny issue is that its airflow system is non-adjustable.
